Refeel Playback Theater
Untitled document
Playback is a unique form of improvised theatre, presented by a team of
actors and musicians. A conductor, who provides the opportunity for the
audience to share their own stories and experiences, leads a
performance. The actors and musicians then re-enact the stories, using
a variety of improvisational forms. The power of theatre to move and
entertain is welded to the immediacy and vitality of group and personal
experiences. The program is a learning experience for the youth in
self-understanding and personal growth. The journey of sharing and
listening helps to construct a positive and respectful interpersonal
relationship.
